Menthol Rub With Eucalyptus: Cooling Comfort

A menthol rub is the jar you reach for when you want that strong, cooling feeling: after a long day on your feet, or when a stuffy head makes you want something that smells clean and bright. Ours is called Euca Breathe. Here is what is in it and how to use it well.
What is in Euca Breathe
- Menthol crystals give the cooling sensation on the skin.
- Camphor essential oil adds a second, sharper layer of that cool, clearing scent.
- Jojoba oil infused with eucalyptus brings the classic eucalyptus aroma.
- Organic shea butter, beeswax and sunflower oil make it a soft balm that stays where you put it.
- Vitamin E oil and potato starch keep it fresh and less greasy.
Where people use it
- Chest and upper back. Many people like the aroma there when they feel stuffed up, especially before bed.
- Shoulders, neck and calves. The cooling feels good on tired muscles after work or exercise.
- Feet. A small amount after a long day on your feet is a treat.
How to apply it
Use a small amount and rub it in. The cooling builds over a minute or two, so wait before adding more. Wash your hands afterward, and keep your fingers away from your eyes until you do.
Sensible cautions
- For use on the skin only.
- Keep it away from eyes, the inside of the nose, the mouth and broken skin.
- Do not use it on babies or young children.
- If you are pregnant, nursing or have a health condition, ask your doctor first.
It is a comfort product, not a medicine. It is not meant to treat or cure any illness.
Choose a size
It comes in 1 oz, 2 oz and 4 oz jars. The 1 oz jar fits a gym bag or a bedside drawer. The 4 oz jar is the one for the medicine cabinet at home.
